A new study by researchers at the University of Texas at Austin looks at the costs of perfume products.
They found that the average cost of a bottle of perfume sold online, including the packaging, was around $35, according to a press release from the university.
They also found that many of the brands on offer on Amazon are priced more expensive than the cheapest options on the market.
The study, published in the Journal of Consumer Psychology, was funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.
The authors hope that this study will help consumers make informed decisions about buying perfume.
“The consumer must make informed choices about whether or not to purchase a product that has high quality ingredients and is not currently available on the online marketplace,” they wrote.
“This study should serve as a reminder that consumer choices are often made without sufficient information or understanding about what is currently available.”
