New York fashion brand KENZO perfume is now available in the UK, thanks to a campaign to promote women’s perfume brands, including KENO fragrance, which is sold exclusively in the U.K. and France.KENZOS first foray into the U, which opened in 2016, is the latest addition to a string of French-based fragrance brands that have emerged to appeal to the perfume world.
While the women’s market has largely been dominated by fragrance companies such as Guerlain, L’Oréal and Tom Ford, the men’s market is increasingly looking to female-focused brands such as L’Oreal, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Guerlain to appeal specifically to men.
In addition to its foray into men’s fragrance, KENOS is also introducing a women’s fragrance called L’Amerique which will be available in Europe, the Middle East and Asia in the coming months.
The fragrance launched in 2017 with the launch of its first fragrance line, LADIES PRECIOUS, which was made with an array of floral and fragrant oils, including lavender, rose, peach, sandalwood, cedarwood and citrus.
In addition to the KEN ZO fragrance line , KENZA is also launching its first men’s line, MEN.
This will include the new LADYS PRECIOUST fragrance, LADA, a fragrance that was inspired by the traditional Chinese art of mandarin mandarin.
While the KENA line is designed to appeal exclusively to men, it also features two fragrance products that women can purchase: KENANOS SWEET and KENDA SWEETS, both of which are inspired by sweet sorbet, which the company hopes will appeal to women as well.
It’s important to note that while KENzo is targeting women specifically, KENA will also be targeting men, with the new line offering the LADY GAGA PUSSY, which will appeal specifically and in part to women.
According to the company, LADS PUSKY is a scent made from fresh, juicy melon, coconut, mango, lime and rose, infused with aromatic essential oils.
The line will also include LADYA SWEES, a scent that was created for women to highlight the rich flavor of LADYCARE, a premium, organic tea, which KENzos founder and CEO Raul Bouchart described as “a classic French classic with a modern twist.”
In terms of fragrance, the brand has a strong track record with men’s brands, having released two fragrance lines with male partners: KENA’s SWEAT and KENA SWEERS.
KENZA has also been involved in several other collaborations with men including collaborations with KENL, Mango and KENS.
